OptiNav AI is a voyage planning and routing product built on two ideas: recommendations that follow the measured performance of the individual vessel, and a human layer on top of the model. Routing and speed advice is tailored to the ship's performance and fuel targets against live weather, and planners can model the effect of a decision on risk, cost, compliance and arrival time before committing to it. The vendor claims up to 4% better outcomes than traditional systems. Optimization is safety-first, routing around adverse weather while still meeting schedule or charter speed requirements.

Around the model sits an operations desk: former masters, chief engineers and deck officers translate the data into guidance for the crew, and the emissions documentation tooling is certified by Verifavia for regulatory readiness. Users work through the LOREKA customer portal, where they can also reach the sibling products in the same family — Tekomar XPERT Engine, Emissions Desk and OptiHull.

Ownership has moved twice. The product grew out of LOREKA360°, the Danish company known for port call and ETA software, and its brochure is co-branded with True North Marine, the Canadian vendor behind the earlier OptiNav routing product. Both now sit inside Accelleron, the Baden-based turbocharger manufacturer that sells the suite as part of its fuel-saving and emissions story rather than as a standalone maritime brand.
