NAPA Fleet Intelligence

NAPA Fleet Intelligence is NAPA's modular cloud platform for ship operations. It pulls data from onboard NAPA systems, automation, navigational signals and third-party feeds into a single shore-side view of each ship, and its voyage optimization module plans routes and speed profiles against the vessel's own performance model rather than a generic hull.

Voyage optimization runs in the cloud for conventional and wind-assisted propulsion, optimizing for arrival time, constant speed, RPM, engine load, maximum daily profit or minimum cost, and re-optimizing automatically while the voyage is under way. Route plans export to PDF and ECDIS-compatible formats, so the bridge receives what the shore decided. The same platform automates EU MRV, IMO DCS, CII and FuelEU Maritime reporting, and simulates what slow steaming or an energy-saving device would do to a ship's rating and fuel position.

NAPA is a Finnish marine software company founded in 1989, best known for the newbuilding design software behind most of the world's annual newbuildings; ship operations is the other half of the business. Fleet Intelligence is not a chartering or voyage accounting system, so commercial desk work still sits in platforms like Veson.
